Founded in 2013 by the young designer who goes by the same name, Taras Volyn strives to create clothing that doesn't seek to attract too much attention, but rather emphasise the dignity of the wearer.
His first collection, one which emphasised clean lines and elegant silhouettes, debuted at Mercedes-Benz Kiev Fashion Days during the SS13 season. Inspired by the energy created by rock forms and natural minerals, quality in material and depth of workmanship combined in the delivery of clothes for the intelligent, independent woman.
In 2014, Volyn's success continued with him winning the Design It competition and as a result, featured on our Fashion Scout Kiev catwalk as well as featuring in Vogue Italia. For AW14, Volyn's work is inspired by the aura held in jewellery. With a want to present clothes as a jeweller does their art, precious metals and a colour palette of desirable stone were all included.
