Recharge at Fashion Scout with The Body Shop's Spa In The City

Three days into Fashion Week and running from show to show, living off a diet of canapés and prosecco is probably starting to take its toll? Fear not! The Body Shop are stationed in the Exhibition Space at Fashion Scout's Freemason's Hall to aid recharge between shows. Guests can choose to pamper themselves with a choice of massage, manicure, makeover or facial or indulge in the full set for the ultimate #SpaInTheCity experience.

The Fashion Scout blog team were lucky enough to attend Spa In The City for a pampering session ahead of a busy day covering shows.





The first spa experience is the massage room, treating weary guests to a revitalising 15 minute treatment. Guests receive a choice of aromatherapy oils: Lemongrass (to stimulate the senses ahead of a busy day of shows), or Lavender (to unwind before heading home in the evening). The seated Chinese accupressure massage works out tension built up from hours of sitting crammed on benches and craning your neck to get the best view of the latest designs. Featuring oils from The Body Shop's Spa Of The World range guests feel recharged and relaxed, ready to continue their day.




The Body Shop nail station offers manicures to compliment show goers outfits. Beginning with a hand massage, guests are then treated to a shape and polish from an array of beautiful colours, ranging from classic tones to seasonal colours. Using natural products, which are perfect for sensitive skin, nails are painted using polishes from the Colour Crush collection. The Body Shop recommends colours to compliment AW15's autumnal palette, such as 'Crazy For Blue 610',  'The Body Shop Green 510' and 'Gorgeous Grey 720'. Hands made dry from the cold September weather are then moisturised using The Body Shop's hand cream and cuticle oil duos in a choice of Wild Rose or Almond.





Long days and dehydration taken a toll on your skin? The Body Shop's skincare experts are on hand to provide an antidote with a personal skincare consultation demonstrating the best products for your face. Their simple steps will help you to perfect your cleansing routine, whilst also providing an on-the-go quick fix to reawaken skin between shows. To add the finishing touches to your Fashion Week look, The Body Shop's make up artists are on hand to beautify guests with this seasons beauty trends. Debuting their Fresh Nude Foundation that will be available in stores in October. With a light yet hydrating feel and medium coverage, it's the perfect foundation for the colder weather and suitable for all skin types. To compliment this season's autumnal tones, The Body Shop recommends using their Shimmer Cube in 'Warm', and Shimmer Waves No.4 for a rosy glow.
